The Concept
The film, Empty Seat touches on a variety of topics that are rooted in the symbolism of oppression. Exploring the country of Iran and the movements that have surfaced in the wake of Mullah's dominant power, Women Life Freedom is only a segment of the much needed persistance to overcome. Arian, explores these stories and the personal choice of growth, in addition toe devastation through the use of dead masks.

Behind The Scenes
Making Connections
Although I’m personally not of Persian ethnicity and don’t have family that have endured the devastation happening in Iran, I have experienced the personal feeling of oppression. Many of the actors shared in this understanding and channeled it to support the cause and engaged wholeheartedly in telling the story. Developing the connections while on set for the overall cause made my contributions much more memorable.
